The Cheshire Farmers Market, due to take place in Chester Town Hall Square tomorrow, has been cancelled.
Following Boris Johnson’s announcement this evening, tomorrow’s intended market has been cancelled.
A statement on the Taste Cheshire Facebook page, earlier this evening, stated: "We continue to work hard to support our local farmers and food based businesses and we hope the public will understand that has always been our intention and stand with us in supporting the food businesses which tonight have to close to the public. Takeaways and deliveries are available and we urge you to use them. Stay safe and stay well. Thank you."
