This October, brand-new Cheshire coffee operator, Starlight Coffee Company takes a Saturday residency at the Carriage Shed.
Starlight Coffee Company will be trading at the unique Chester venue, Carriage Shed from 7am on Saturdays, serving up freshly brewed coffees and hot drinks – perfect for the change in season as we venture into Autumn.
In addition to hot drinks, expect delicious baked goods like cinnamon swirls and salted caramel butter bars, along with weekly specials - a perfect snack for train journeys or on the way into Chester city centre.
Dan Crellin dreamed up Starlight coffee earlier this year, with plans to launch in Spring but as a result of COVID the residency at Carriage Shed was postponed but he’s delighted to be launching now.
“I’ve been doing outdoor events for over 6 years and first traded at Carriage Shed at the Makers Market with my other business Hot Stuffed Bread Company, we’re always exchanging our food and drink with other stalls and it made me realise that I have a real passion for good quality coffee as well as baking.” Says Dan “When the opportunity to have a regular spot at Carriage Shed came up I had to take it – being next to the station and having a covered space makes it a great place for people to grab a drink before jumping on the train or before work or shopping in Chester.”
The Carriage Shed has always supported local independent businesses and Starlight Coffee Company is a great example of how pop-up markets can support the retail and leisure offering for a place.
Carriage Shed is located in City Place, the new Central Business District scheme in Chester. For more information visit
