A singer-songwriter originally from Chester, who has written for top names including James Blunt and Will Young and collaborated with stars including Alfie Boe and Sam Ryder, is set to return home for a special concert with one of the city's top choirs.
Now based in London, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Nick Bradley is set to join Chester Male Voice Choir as their special guest for its Autumn Concert at the Wesley Methodist Church Centre in St John's Street Chester on Friday 26th September at 7pm.
A former pupil of Abbey Gate College in Chester, Nick, 24, first performed as a guest of Chester Male Voice Choir aged 16 and was an instant hit. Having earned a scholarship to the Royal College of Music whilst pursuing a Theoretical Physics degree at Imperial College London, Nick swiftly transitioned into a successful music career. Renowned for his exceptional lyricism, he collaborates with a diverse range of artists across various genres. Recent collaborators in writing and production include Matt Rad, Wayne Hector, Cutfather, and Steve Robson, among others. Nick’s versatility is evident in his collaborations, from guitar bands like Maneskin and You Me at Six, to singer-songwriters such as James TW and James Blunt, and electronic artists like Kygo and Don Diablo. Highlights of Nick's career to date include writing “Gold Dust” for NCT 127’s multi-million-selling album “Ay Yo” and contributing original songs to James Blunt’s gold-certified greatest hits album and Will Young's latest studio album "Light It Up". Additional recent collaborations feature artists such as Sam Ryder, Alfie Boe, and Wrabel.
The members of Chester Male Voice Choir were delighted when earlier this year, Nick asked if they would collaborate with him and add their signature vocals to his debut single 'Let The Good Times Roll'. The choir spent a day with Nick, recording their part for the track at The Cornerhouse in Chester.

Speaking about the special concert, Ron Webster, chair of Chester Male Voice Choir said:
"We are so excited to be presenting our Autumn Concert on 26th September. The choir will be performing some of the new pieces more recently added to our repertoire as well as some of the old favourites which our regular audiences love. Once again, we will be led by our inspiring Musical Director, Joe Mann and accompanied by the wonderful Helen Jackson. Given all that, we expect to present a fantastic evening of music and song."
Ron added:
"We love to perform with guest artists and our guest on this occasion needs little introduction, as it’s the fabulous Nick Bradley! The choir performed with Nick recently, on his newly released single, 'Let the Good Times Roll', so we are really looking forward to performing with him as I know he is with us too. We look forward to welcoming audience members old and new to enjoy this special occasion with us. We are always looking for men to come and join us and enjoy the fun and camaraderie that singing together brings. We continue in our efforts to Sing-Inspire-Support."
