Sam Rowlands, Member of the Welsh Parliament for North Wales, has given pupils from Flintshire an insight into life in the Senedd.
Mr Rowlands, Shadow Cabinet Secretary for Finance, was delighted to meet the youngsters from the Flintshire Cluster of Welsh language primary schools and talk to them about his role in the Welsh Parliament.
He said:
“I am always happy to welcome staff and pupils from North Wales to Cardiff and show them around the Senedd and talk about what we do here.
“I do think it is important to encourage children and young people to learn more about the Welsh Parliament and how decisions by them can affect their lives.
“It was fantastic to welcome the young visitors and hear what they had to say as these children are the politicians of the future.”
Mr Rowlands showed schoolchildren from the Flintshire cluster of five Welsh primary schools around the Senedd including the public gallery.
The young visitors came from Ysgol Glanrafon, Mold, Ysgol Terrig, Treuddyn, Ysgol Gwenffrwd and Ysgol Mornant, Holywell and Ysgol Croes Atti from Flint and Shotton.
