An update on some recent Rural Watch reports...
| York Stone thefts - We have received repeat reports from a rural location in Wilmslow where York stone has been stolen. Please keep your eyes open for any suspicious commercial vehicles, any that look overloaded and report any offers of cheap stone. Wildlife Crimes - Reports have continued to come in around offences that are occurring against wildlife. These range from badger setts being interfered with to poaching concerns. As a team we value this information so we can patrol where we need to and investigate any details provided for possible offenders. Quad theft - We received a report of a theft of quad but this was later found dumped approx. 18 miles away from the owners address. Please make sure you always use the security measures you have in place and don't be tempted to relax them. If you need to report anything you can use 101 or 999 in an emergency or you can use the on-line reporting tool on the Cheshire Police website www.cheshire.police.uk If you would like to report anonymously you can report through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or through the website on www.crimestoppers-uk.org |
