The Blues will look to make it three wins in seven days as they make the long trip to Norfolk this weekend to take on King’s Lynn Town.
Tuesday’s midweek win at Chorley was an impressive performance, with key players getting back to full fitness just at the right time. Tom Peers was at the double in the 2-0 victory and was a constant threat alongside strike partner Charlie Caton.
THE OPPOSITION:
Adam Lakeland’s side sit 21st in the table coming into this weekend, the final spot of the relegation places, with 28 points from 30 games.
The Linnets finished second last season but have been unable to challenge at the top of the table this time around and are instead battling for survival.
Lakeland saw his team lose 4-0 at home to his former employers Curzon Ashton in midweek, so will be desperate for a big response on Saturday.
