Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorist failed to stop following a collision in Blacon.
At 4.45pm on Tuesday 15 June a 13-year-old girl was walking along Sumner Road and crossed the junction of Stratford Road when a vehicle collided with her and didn’t stop at the scene.
The girl received injuries which are believed to be minor. Police are making enquiries in the area to trace the driver of a white mini which was involved in the collision.
PC Rowan Burt said: “The girl was left shocked by the incident and was given medical attention at the scene by paramedics.
“We’d urge anyone who witnessed the collision or has a dash cam which has captured the collision to contact us. If you were the driver I’d urge you to contact us so that we can establish the circumstances.”
Anyone with information should contact PC Rowan Burt on 101 or via the website quoting IML 1014053.
