Officers investigating a collision in Upton are appealing to the public for information and video footage.
At 4.39pm on Monday 14 August, officers received reports of an incident on Mill Lane, near Upton Lane, Upton.
The collision involved a black Audi A6 and a pedestrian, a 38-year-old woman.
The pedestrian suffered a serious head injury and was taken to hospital for treatment, she has since been discharged.
Her injuries are not thought to be life threatening or life changing.
Police Constable Peter Dugdale of Cheshire’s Roads and Crime Unit, said:
“This was a serious incident that could have been fatal, and we are doing all we can to establish what took place.
“As part of our investigation, we are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
“The same goes for anyone who has any dashcam or CCTV footage, that may help us determine how this incident occurred.
