Manchester Airport and Liverpool John Lennon Airport have announced new Easyjet flight routes for Autumn 2019
The North West's two main airports have announced a number of new flight routes, due to come into operation later this year.
Easyjet revealed the news via their official website earlier this week, that they will now be increasing routes flying from Manchester Airport to popular UK holiday destinations including Lanzarote, Faro and Barcelona.
They will also be adding Innsbruck in Austria, and the French city of Bordeaux to their roster later this year.
The airport is currently undergoing a multi million pound development project that will build a new trans-Atlantic terminal by the end of 2020, and this new increase of flights will create a further 175 jobs at the airport - on top of the expansion.
Liverpool John Lennon Airport have also announced that they will now be flying to Toulouse from the end of October - with Easyjet the carrier.
Airport bosses have said it should boost tourism between the two cities, as well as providing a link between staff at the Airbus site in Broughton and their French colleagues.
