The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is calling on residents across Chester to have their say on the future of healthcare services.
As part of the NHS 10 Year Health Plan for England, the Trust is developing its long-term strategy, and your views are essential to help shape how care is delivered in the coming decade.
On Friday 25th July 2025, two community workshops will be held at the Storyhouse in Chester, hosted by Jonathan Develing, Director of Strategy and Partnerships at the Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. These interactive sessions offer an important opportunity for local people to learn about upcoming plans and share their priorities for healthcare in their community.
Workshop details:
- Date: Friday 25th July 2025
- Times: 9.30am – 10.30am OR 1.30pm – 2.30pm (choose the session that suits you)
- Location: Storyhouse, Chester, Garret Bar (4th floor, accessible via lifts and with accessible toilet facilities)

The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has three hospitals – The Countess of Chester Hospital, Ellesmere Port Hospital and Tarporley War Memorial Hospital – and provides services to 445,000 people a year from West Cheshire, Ellesmere Port, Neston and north Wales. Emergency care is provided to over 200 patients a day across the Emergency Department, Same Day Emergency Care facility and Urgent Treatment Centre with a dedicated Acute Frailty department to support more vulnerable patients.
