Due to a surge in demand for COVID testing services across the North West, Nantwich-based healthcare testing business, Everything Genetic, is supporting furloughed workers in the local community in the fight against COVID-19.
The business has set up a pop up logistics team at Nantwich Town FC (Optimum Pay Stadium, Water-Lode, Nantwich CW5 5BS) to help service this demand.
Everything Genetic has recruited a team of 20 temporary workers who live locally in Nantwich, largely members of the community who have been furloughed from all different careers, including footballers, swimming instructors and hospitality. As well as retired veterans and university students.
The pop up logistics team will be working there from today until this Saturday (23-27 March) between 8am – 8pm.
All these temporary workers from the local community will be helping Everything Genetic to make up the COVID testing kit boxes that will be sent out to its customers.
