Following a recent contract award by Openreach, Merseyside based telecommunications company, MJ Quinn will create 400 new opportunities across North West England and South Wales.
Through direct employment and via its supply chain, MJ Quinn will be responsible for construction tasks such as: surveying, building and testing as well as associated back office functions. With field and office based roles available across both regions.
MJ Quinn began in 1980 as a small electrical company working around the Merseyside area. Today the company has a turnover in excess of £100 million and work across the whole of the UK and Ireland. Now, as part of the Visabeira Group, MJ Quinn are able to utilise considerable expertise acquired over 30 years working across Europe and Africa allowing customer goals to be achieved and future success to be realised.
Over the last 2 years MJ Quinn have grown from strength to strength, securing infrastructure build contracts across rural and urban Wales and the North West, as well as increasing our long-standing nationwide Openreach Service Delivery contract. Doubling its workforce MJ Quinn have sourced an additional 3 premises; (Liverpool, Newport and Deeside) which will house both office and logistics functions to support this new and exciting contract.

Determined to invest in the local economy MJ Quinn will offer in-coming engineers technical training at their industry leading Training Academy in Knowsley, Liverpool. MJ Quinn’s team of dedicated trainers are qualified to accredit engineers across a wide range of telecommunications qualifications. In 2020 we have welcomed over 1800 engineers to our Training Academy and successfully delivered in the region of 4000 accreditations.
