The Blues made it back-to-back wins and moved up to fourth with victory at Litherland Remyca.
Martin Fitzsimons’ side started the brightest on Merseyside as Charlotte Randles’ shot from the best part of 50 yards couldn’t quite catch the ‘keeper out, before Ash Bullock’s effort from range drifted wide of the post.
But the Seals were in front on 20 minutes as Emma Gray tapped home from Kerry Morris’ square pass to open the scoring. It was the goal that proved to be the difference going into the break as the Blues continued to dominate possession.
Sarah Redman and then Bullock both tested the Litherland ‘keeper early in the second 45, before Gray scored hers and Chester’s second of the night on 69 minutes with a fantastic powerful strike from distance.
That was to be that on a dominant evening for the Blues at Chesterfield High School.
Chester: Galbraith, Sands, Randles, Priest, Adderley, Dowell, Morris (Harding 70), Locke (Gill 84), Redman, Bullock (Hollis 78), Gray.
Scorers: Gray 20 & 69.
