Chester FC Women's Team rounded off the season with a home defeat against Hindley Juniors.
The Blues raced into a two goal half time lead, as Katie Priest was first to react to score after Molly Wood had struck the crossbar on three minutes.
Wood then doubled the lead on 43 minutes, converting from close range to put Martin Fitzsimons’ side in a commanding position.
However, Hindley hit back in the final 20 minutes of the game to win. A penalty following a handball was converted to halve the deficit, before five minutes later the game was level.
Both sides pushed on to end the season with a win, and it was the visitors who got the crucial fifth goal of the game in stoppage time.
Chester finished the league season in fourth place with 36 points from their 20 games.
