Seven days later than anticipated, Chester kick off their 2021/2022 National League North campaign later today.
A trip to The Citadel to face Farsley Celtic is on the agenda following last Saturday’s postponement due to COVID-19 protocols.
Bern and Jonno’s men returned to training this week ahead of a visit to Yorkshire. Meanwhile, Farsley got off the mark on Saturday with a 1-0 victory at Edgar Street. Luke Parkin scored the second half winner as Hereford also saw a penalty saved later on in the game.
Last season at this ground, the Blues played out an entertaining 2-2 draw with the Celt Army. George Glendon and Paddy Lacey were on the scoresheet on a cold Tuesday evening back in November.
