Just five games now remain this term and the Blues host Farsley Celtic this weekend at the Deva.
Once again, Chester took positives out of defeat in their last outing – as they lost 3-1 at AFC Fylde. Three goals down, which included a contentious penalty decision, they got one back and struck the woodwork twice on Easter Monday.
Despite the encouragement, the Blues will be eager to get back into the winning habit as the season draws to a close, starting this Saturday.
Manager Steve Watson has plenty of options to choose from for this encounter. He is expected to only be without Danny Livesey and Dan Griffiths due to injury, although both are now back in training and a return isn’t far away.
Farsley come into this one just a place below the Seals in the National League North table, and a win for the Celt Army would move them level on points. Russ Wilcox’s side sit 8th in the form table across the last ten matches, an impressive run that has seen them pull away from the relegation spot at the bottom.
Kick off on Saturday afternoon is 3pm.
