After a goalless draw in the North East on Saturday, the Blues and Darlington will try again tonight in the FA Cup.
A hard fought affair ended 0-0 on the weekend at Blackwell Meadows, and yesterday’s draw confirmed that the winner of tonight’s match down the Deva will travel to Marske United in the Third Qualifying Round at the start of October.
Club Captain George Glendon completed a one-match suspension and is available for selection tonight. Joint Bosses Bern and Jonno may have some selection headaches though, as a few players were forced off due to injury.
The winner of this Second Qualifying Round tie will receive £3,375 as prize money – with the losers getting £1,125. If the game ends level after 90 minutes then extra time and potentially penalties will follow.
