Alfreton visit the Deva Stadium as the Blues go in search of their first victory of the season.
Chester have started with two draws and two defeats from their opening four games of the National League North campaign. Bern and Jonno were without some key players on Monday, including Declan Weeks and Captain George Glendon – so will be hoping to have more options this weekend.
The Blues squad has been bolstered ahead of the game, as it was announced that midfielder Paddy Lacey has recovered from the ACL injury he sustained in November and is back in selection contention.
Billy Heath’s side come to CH1 with one win from their opening four matches, an impressive away victory at Darlington. In their three defeats, they have failed to score in losses to Blyth Spartans, Brackley Town and Chorley.
