A man has been jailed after pleading guilty to dealing heroin and crack cocaine in Chester.
Nicholas Owens of no fixed address appeared at Chester Crown Court on 24th January to be sentenced after pleading guilty to possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A (heroin) and possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A Drugs (crack cocaine).
The 51-year-old was sentenced to 30 months in prison.
On 20th November 2023 Chester Proactive team conducted a warrant at an address in Medlar Close in Chester.
Police seized drugs estimated to be worth around £3,000 and other evidence linking Owens to the supply of Class A drugs
Di Rupert Morrey said:
“This is another example of our proactive team removing illegal drugs off the streets and disrupting the supply.
“I’d urge anyone with information on illegal drug dealing to contact us so that we can continue to rid the streets of crack cocaine and heroin – drugs which have a huge detrimental impact on those addicted to them, and those suffering the consequences of addictions’ effect on the wider community.”
