Detectives from Chester Proactive Team have charged a man with drug offences following a vehicle stop in Ellesmere Port.
Peter Hayes, of Thackeray Gardens, Bootle, was arrested on Thursday 23 March following a stop by the Roads and Crime Unit on the A41.
The 32-year-old has since been charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs (crack cocaine and heroin).
He was remanded into custody to appear at Warrington Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 25 March, where he was further remanded to appear at Chester Crown Court on Monday 24 April.
