A 19-year-old man has been charged in relation to a murder investigation following the death of a man in Ellesmere Port.
Ben Ruddock, of Kendal Drive, Ellesmere Port, was arrested in the Halewood area of Merseyside at around 1.35am on Thursday 2nd May.
He has since been charged with murder and has been remanded in custody to appear at Crewe Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 4th May 2023.
The charges relate to the death of 34-year-old Lloyd Velasquez following an incident on Summertrees Road, Ellesmere Port, at around 8.20pm on Wednesday 1st May.
A 20-year-old man and a 21-year-old man, both from Ellesmere Port, who were both arrested on suspicion of murder remain in police custody at this time.
