A man has been charged in connection with a serious assault near Whitchurch.
Conor Jagodzinski has been charged with section 18 assault and possession of a knife.
The 28-year-old has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Warrington Magistrates’ Court on Monday 17 August.
The charges relate to an incident on Friday 15 August on the A49 on the Cheshire/Shropshire border near to Bradley Green Lane in which a lorry driver sustained serious injuries. He remains in hospital in a serious condition.
