Detectives investigating two street robberies in Ellesmere Port have charged a man in relation to the incidents.
Iulian Doroftei was arrested on Thursday 16 December.
The 42-year-old has since been charged with two counts of robbery, possession of a knife in a public place and 12 counts of fraud.
Doroftei, of no fixed abode, Ellesmere Port, has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at West Cheshire Magistrates’ Court later today, Friday 17 December.
The first incident at around 12.30pm on Saturday 11 December on Heathfield Road.
The second incident occurred at around 7.45pm on Sunday 12 December on the footpath between Wellesey Avenue and Arthur Avenue.
