A man has been charged with sending false communications after firearms officers were deployed to an incident in Chester.
Iler Xhebexhia, was arrested on Friday 10 December. The 37-year-old, has since been charged with sending a false message by public communication network to cause annoyance, inconvenience or anxiety.
Xhebexhia, of City Road, Chester, has been released on bail and is set to appear at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Friday 7 January.
The charge relates to an incident on Friday 10th December when officers were deployed following reports of a man threatening to harm himself.
