Officers investigating a burglary in Chester have charged a second man in relation to the incident.
Michael Peers was arrested on Monday 9 October.
He was later charged on Tuesday 10 October with burglary of a dwelling.
The 42-year-old, of Gorton Road, Stockport, was remanded in custody to appear at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 11 October.
He was further remanded to appear at Chester Crown Court on Wednesday 8 November.
The charge relates to a burglary at an address on Tarvin Road, Littleton, on Friday 4 August, in which jewellery and cash to the approximate value of £10,000 was stolen.
