Detectives investigating an attempted robbery at a convenience store in Chester have charged a man in connection with the incident.
Christopher Bragan was arrested on Saturday 15 April.
The 45-year-old of Newry Park, Chester, has since been charged with attempted robbery, and possession of a knife in a public place.
The charges relate to an incident at a convenience store on Brook Lane, Chester, on Friday 14 April.
Bragan has also been charge with blackmail in relation to a separate incident which occurred between Thursday 6 and Friday 7 April.
He appeared at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Monday 17 April where he was remanded in custody; he is next set to appear at Chester Crown Court on Monday 15 May.
