Detectives investigating an armed robbery at a shop in Frodsham have charged a man in relation to the incident.
Peter Thomas Lea was arrested on Saturday 22nd March in relation to the robbery at a convenience store on Main Street, Frodsham, which occurred at around 4.50pm on Tuesday 18th March.
The 34-year-old of Kingfisher Road, Larkfield, Aylesford, has since been charged with one count of robbery and one count of possession of a knife in a public place.
Lea has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Chester Magistrates Court on Monday 24th March.
