The County Champions, Warwickshire come to Chester Boughton Hall CC on Sunday 31 July 2022 to take on National Counties’ Cheshire CCC in one of 20 specially staged games across the country.
The ECB have paired all 20 NCCA counties against first class counties in what are promoted as 'Showcase' games.
The initiative was planned in 2020 but was cancelled due to the pandemic. Cheshire will face Warwickshire.
National Counties’ sides (previously ‘minor counties’) once regularly faced first class opposition in cup competitions but haven’t since Cheshire faced Hampshire in 2004.
A fun-filled day will include a demonstration of ‘Dynamo Cricket’ by junior members from Chester Boughton Hall CC.
Date - Sunday 31 July 2022.
Match timings - 50 overs per side, start 11.00am.
Innings break - 2.15pm approx, end of game 6.00pm approx.

Raffle -There are some big prizes available on the day including an overnight stay at Peckfortaon Castle.

Car parking - Plenty of space. £5 per car. There is no parking around the outfield.
Seating - Limited fixed seating - spectators are advised to bring their own chairs.
Gazebos - There is a dedicated 'gazebo' area around the ground.
Catering -There are food outlets at the ground including a barbecue.
Licensed bars in the marquee, upstairs in the clubhouse (limited times) and a bottle bar around the perimeter of the ground.
Toilets are available around the ground and in the main building.
