A smallholding in Kelsall, Applecross Farm, is set to transform into a live music venue on Saturday 6th September, hosting an end-of-harvest farm party that brings together food, drink, music, and community – all in support of a new farm shop and wellbeing hub for the local area.
Applecross Farm, run by Fred & Jo, have teamed up with some of Cheshire’s best-known independents including Edge & Sons butchers, Bear Bakery, That Beer Place, and Vines of Cheshire & Dorward Visuals Guests can look forward to freshly cooked food, craft drinks, and homemade desserts, all celebrating the very best of local produce.
The night will also feature three hours of live music from Cheshire’s Tom Martin warming the stage ready for the incredible Outpost Drive, an exciting country duo currently touring the UK and recently featured on BBC Introducing.
Funds raised will go directly towards building a seasonal organic farm shop at Applecross Farm, giving the community better access to clean, honest, farm-to-table food organically grown on the smallholding and by neighbouring farmers. The couple also plan to develop the space into a hub for mental health and wellbeing, with workshops, events and nature-based activities.
Fred and Jo explained:
“This event is about more than just music – it’s about celebrating and supporting Cheshire’s incredible local businesses, while building something that benefits the whole community. Every ticket sold takes us a step closer to creating a space where people can access good, honest food and enjoy the wellbeing that comes from reconnecting with farming and the land.”
