Officers have released an image of a sentimental item of jewellery they are looking to locate which is believed to have been stolen in Chester.
It was reported that the item, a diamond which had been set into a ring, was stolen at some point in June 2025 from an address in Chester city centre.
Enquiries are currently ongoing, but officers are looking to speak to anyone who may have seen it or may have been sold it.
Detective Constable Richard Connolley said:
“The investigation into this report is currently ongoing and officers are following key lines of enquiry.
“But we would now like to speak to anyone who believes they may have seen a ring or item of jewellery containing this diamond, or has been sold or offered it, perhaps not knowing it may have been stolen property.
“You can contact Cheshire Police on 101 or through our website, quoting 25000592004.”
