Flintshire Trading Standards Department is warning residents of a recent housing repairs scam.
Residents have been telephoned and advised that there are outstanding repairs needed at their property.
During this telephone call, the resident is then asked to gain access to the property.
The caller may also mention that the resident is entitled to compensation for outstanding repair works.
These calls are scams.
