Samantha Dixon, Member of Parliament for Chester North & Neston, welcomed local residents to the Housing and Support & Information Fayre on Thursday 3rd April.
Residents had the opportunity to speak directly with organisations offering advice on housing, financial support, mental health, and much more.
The event brought together key service providers, including the Job Centre, Citizens Advice, Cheshire Police, Sanctuary, Dial West Cheshire, Tomorrow’s Women, West Cheshire Foodbank, and many others, making it easier for residents to access the support they need.
Following the event, Samantha Dixon MP said:
"It was great to see so many residents taking the opportunity to connect with organisations that provide vital support in our community. Whether it’s help with housing, financial advice, or mental health services, having these resources available in one place made a real difference to those who attended.
"I want to thank all the organisations that took part and shared their expertise and the residents who attended. Events like this are an important way to ensure that people know where to turn when they need support."
Throughout the day, attendees engaged in one-on-one conversations with experts, received tailored advice, and explored the range of services available to them. Many expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to gain clear and reliable information, with some taking the first steps toward accessing further support.
