GreenWood Family Park in North Wales reopens later this month, with a giant new addition to the sprawling forest playground.
Launching in May half-term, the all new Giant Quest is a brand new outdoor play park within GreenWood, beckoning those brave and bold enough to step into the realms of the sleeping giant and take on the challenge to become fellow guardians of future forests.
Tales of ancient Welsh folklore will be reimagined as old Glyn, a kindred spirit and one of the legendary giants of Snowdonia, has hidden deep in the heart of GreenWood and needs help from the humans to protect the forest treasure; the keys of the trees.
An incredible collection of hand-carved wooden obstacles become the heart of this brilliantly adapted story for the award-winning park. Kids will get to test their nerve and agility as they tiptoe across stepping stones, scale walls and race through tunnels and balance bridges in a bid to wake sleepy Glyn from his slumber before the greediest of all the giants find him and his fortune.
Mark Thompson, General Manager at GreenWood said: “We can’t wait to be welcoming families and friends back to the forest later this month for some much needed, wholesome outdoor fun.
“Guests have still got the same old amusement, magic and mischief to look forward to, but whilst our doors have been closed, we’ve had a new, larger than life character-adventure take up residency here who we can’t wait to introduce everyone to!”
GreenWood Family Park, acclaimed for its green credentials, is also home to the Green Dragon Roller Coaster - the world’s first people-powered roller coaster, Solar Splash - the UK’s only solar-powered water slide and Enchanted River Ride - a tranquil boat ride navigated through the forest clearing by hand.
Tickets are now on sale for select dates from May 22nd and can be booked online now at:
