Congratulations to Chester FC skipper George Glendon, who has been named as the National League North Player of the Month for January 2021!
The midfielder has been in superb form throughout the 2020/21 campaign with his inspirational displays leading from the front – and has now been recognised as the standout player for the division.
He played every minute of our three games in the month of January, which brought two home wins and an away draw in a six-goal thriller at Bradford (PA).
Not just on the field, George also represents the Club with pride off it too. In the middle of last month, he joined up with the Community Trust to feature in a home learning Zoom session for school pupils while they worked from home.
On 2nd January, he also made his 50th appearance for the club in the victory over AFC Telford.
His performances have caught the eye of every Blues supporter since his arrival and he fully deserves this award.
Congratulations, Glenno!
