Flintshire County Council has informed residents that, due to operational disruptions experienced at the start of this year’s garden waste service and the recent transition to a three-weekly collection schedule, the 2025 Garden Waste Collection Services will be extended for a period of two weeks.
This will ensure that all subscribed properties receive an additional collection.
This additional collection will take place after 28th November, within the period from Monday 1st December to Friday 12th December 2025.
For clarity, please refer to the following examples:
- If your last scheduled collection takes place on Monday 17th November, your additional collection will occur on Monday 1st December.
- If your last scheduled collection takes place on Friday 28th November, your additional collection will occur on Friday 12th December.
Please ensure your brown bin is placed at the kerbside by 7:00am on your normal collection day, and that it contains only accepted garden waste materials.
Bins that are contaminated with other waste types may not be emptied.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused by earlier service disruptions and thank you for your continued participation in our garden waste service.
