Following the latest Government announcement, it is with regret that we must make the difficult decision to further postpone the Taste Cheshire Food and Drink Festival 2021 to August Bank Holiday. This is not a decision made lightly and we hoped this would not be the case, however we must act cautiously with the safety of our customers and traders our top priority.
The Prime Minster has announced that Large events cannot return until we enter Stage 4 of the Lockdown Lifting measures which will be the 21st of June at the earliest. We are grateful to our venue Chester racecourse who have worked with us to secure the weekend of 28th-30th August 2021 for us to host the show this year.
Following the announcements of the progress of the vaccine rollout and the staged roadmap, we are confident that the event will be able to take place safely at this time.
Organisers would like to reiterate that those who bought tickets to either attend Camperfest or the food festival in 2020 or for the Easter 2021 event have been contacted and their tickets will be valid for the new August 2021 dates -they need do nothing in the meantime. The team would like to encourage all of those who have purchased tickets previously to keep their tickets and join us to make Summer 2021 something very special. For those who do require a refund, we can assure you these will be processed in the coming weeks.
We cannot thank our partners, suppliers, and supporter enough for their understanding in what has been a difficult year for us all, but we look forward to welcoming you all back to the event this summer and hopefully take advantage of the summer weather.
