Flintshire County Council, in partnership with LEAP (Learn, Explore, Achieve, Perform), is excited to announce the Flintshire Futures Event, taking place over five consecutive dates in July and August.
The dates and times are:
Wednesday 2nd July 2025 in Mold Daniel Owen Square (10-3.30pm), Thursday 3rd July 2025 in Holywell Town Centre (Tower Gardens) (10-3.30pm), Wednesday 16th July 2025 in Mold Daniel Owen Square (10-3.30pm), Thursday 17th July in Holywell Town Centre (Tower Gardens) (10-3.30pm) and Wednesday 13th August 2025 in Halkyn Castle Woods (2-7pm).
This event aims to connect this years school leavers with a wide selection of support – ranging from employment/apprenticeships, to mental health and well-being, to voluntary opportunities, to starting your own business.
The event will feature a wide range of organisations, providing those that attend the opportunity to explore career paths, discover apprenticeships, engage in volunteering, and to gather valuable insights into their next steps…

• Times: 10-3.30pm & 2-7pm.
• Locations: The Daniel Owen Square, Mold, CH7 1AP. Holywell High St & Tower Gardens, Holywell, CH8 7LH. Halkyn Castle Wood, Lower Lodge, Holywell, CH8 8DF (entrance behind Travelodge, Halkyn).
We encourage this years school leavers to come along with their parents/carers, and the local community to attend to take advantage of the fantastic opportunities on offer. This is a great chance to engage directly with local businesses, employers, and support services. They will be on hand to answer any of your questions and to help you to form the decisions that will ultimately shape your future. We look forward to seeing you there!
