Get set for an action-packed day out at Chester Racecourse this Sunday (4 August), as the ever-popular Liverpool John Lennon Airport Family Fun Day returns.
The exciting event, which children attend for free, features a thrilling card of racing and lots of amazing activities, including a Fun Fair Zone and Inflatable Play Zone, out on the Open Course.
Bluey & Bingo, stars of the award-winning animated CBeebies series Bluey, will also be joining in the fun, making personal appearances throughout the afternoon.
You can also meet the racecourse’s equine ambassador Sleepy Haven, affectionately known as Noddy, to learn more about the life of a former racehorse, plus get involved in games with Super Pirates and some arts and music workshops with AmaSing.
On the track, a charity Pantomime Horse Race starts the day off by raising money for the Hospice of the Good Shepherd at 1.30pm, followed by a six-race card. Gates to the racecourse open at 12.30pm.
A great value day out for all the family, adult tickets for the Roodee Enclosure, where all the activities take place, are priced at £17 in advance, or £20 on the day. Children 17 and under attend free.
