The Blues return to action with an FA Trophy Third Round trip to Farsley Celtic.
Following postponements at home to Alfreton and away to Hereford in the league due to the freezing conditions over the recent weeks, it’s cup action that looks to get the Blues back into action on the pitch, at the second time of asking following an initial Saturday postponement.
Whilst the correct decision for recent games to be called off, Calum McIntyre would have been frustrated that his side have had their momentum stopped in its tracks, they are currently on a fantastic run of five successive wins.
The two sides met in the league at the Citadel on 22nd November, as second half strikes from Kole Hall and Kurt Willoughby saw the Seals successful on the road. If this tie is level after 90 minutes, it will go straight to penalties.
Winning sides at the Third Round stage land £4,500 in prize money, with the losing teams receiving £1,250. The winner of this tie will host Marske United or Marine in the Fourth Round.
Kick off on Tuesday evening is 7.45pm.
