Car dealer group Swansway has kicked off its festive mission to bring smiles to children and families across the UK.
For the 10th Christmas in a row, the motor group have worked with their well-established charity partners on Swansway Santa Patrol, donating Christmas gifts to those in need.
Items donated have ranged from toys for babies, children and teens, to Christmas food supplies, and warm winter clothing.
On behalf of Swansway Chester Peugeot and Motor Match Chester, Swansway Motor Group worked alongside Kidsbank Chester to donate toys for their One More Gift appeal which aims to leave no child without a present at Christmas this year.
As part of Swansway’s continued efforts to support their charity partners with the ongoing cost-of-living crisis, the car dealer group has tailored its donations to each charity's specific needs, liaising directly with their charity partners to create bespoke donations.
Alongside their Santa Patrol, Swansway also hosted their very own Christmas Jumper Day on Friday 8th December in support of causes selected by each dealership team. Both Swansway Chester Peugeot and Motor Match Peugeot decided to donate their fundraising money to Kidsbank Chester, further strengthening the relationship between the two dealerships and their chosen charity partner.
Dee Denton, Operations Manager at Kidsbank Chester commented:
“We are incredibly grateful for the wonderful gifts provided by Swansway. The donations are already helping us to support over 1,00 children this Christmas.”
Swansway Motor Group Director David Smyth summarised:
“Christmas should be a time of joy and celebration for everyone, no matter what your circumstances may be. Our Swansway Santa Patrol aims to spread some Christmas magic to those children and families who need it the most. From the Swansway Family to yours, we wish all a Merry Christmas.”
Swansway’s Santa Patrol rounds up Swansway Motor Group’s charity investment in 2023 to a close, seeing the group donate almost £80K to a range of charitable causes. From donations to foodbanks to supporting their team members with their fundraising and partnering with four community foundations across the country.
David Smyth continued:
“It’s important to us all at Swansway that we are active within the communities that have welcomed and supported us over the last 20 years, and 2023 has been no exception. This year we have further strengthened relationships with existing charity partners, whilst also building new ones and we look forward to continuing our work in 2024
