Detectives are appealing for information after items were stolen from a memorial on Frodsham Hill.
At sometime between midnight on 12 October and midnight on 14 October, unknown offenders are believed to have taken items from a memorial in memory of a young man who died last year.
On Thursday 26 November, it was reported that the last remaining items of the memorial, including a plaque and photographs, has now been taken.
Officers are appealing to anyone who may have information to come forward.
Detective Inspector Nick Henderson said: "To target a memorial is truly sickening and we are doing all we can to trace those responsible.
"We have been following several enquiries in relation to the removal of items from the memorial but sadly, these have so far, come to no avail.
"I would urge anyone who may know what has happened to the items on the memorial to come forward.
"The same goes to anyone who knows who is responsible or may have information that they would like to share with us."
Anyone with information is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting IML 1113413 or report it to us via https://www.cheshire.police.uk/ro/report
