Anyone with a camera or a smart phone has the opportunity of seeing their photo on display in Chester Cathedral to celebrate and participate in Climate Impact Week.
Green Expo 2025 has its annual photography competition exhibiting in the Cathedral which invites all ages and abilities to participate in celebrating environmental activities - through the lens. Entries for 2025 will be accepted until 31 May and are free.
Winners of the photo competition will have their pictures on prominent display at Chester Cathedral from the first week of June during Climate Impact Week (2-8 June 2025) and be awarded a £100 cash prize.
The competition has three categories:
Progress to Net Zero, Climate Change and The Natural World’s Resilience.
Jane Harrad-Roberts, Project Director of Green Expo UK said:
“Photography has the power to inspire, educate, and motivate action, and we look forward to seeing how participants capture what sustainability is about related to the North West and North Wales.”
Entries are open to those under 18, adults 18+, and professional photographers. Jane added; “The process is quick and easy to encourage as many people to participate as possible.”
Supporters this year are Net Zero Northwest, Chester Cathedral and 2030hub in Liverpool.
