Citizens Advice Flintshire have introduced a new drop-in service devoted to addressing debt enquiries.
Specialist debt advisers will be on hand to offer advice and support for people concerned about their financial situation. As it’s a drop-in session, no appointment is necessary and people are encouraged to use the service to help with all debt related problems however large or small.
Debt manager, Lisa Powell, said:
”We decided to offer this new service in response to demand for specialist debt advice where people prefer to speak with someone face to face rather than over the telephone or via our digital channels. It’s crucial that anyone facing the stress and anxiety that debt can bring is able to reach out to us in as many ways as possible and as quickly as possible. The drop-in service means another avenue is opened for people in need of urgent support.”
Our debt advisers provide comprehensive support in several areas:
- Managing Immediate Debts: assisting clients dealing with urgent debts and finding immediate solutions to alleviate financial pressure
- Exploring Repayment Options: helping clients discover and utilise the most effective debt relief programmes and repayment strategies
- Boosting Income: conducting thorough benefit entitlement checks to ensure clients are receiving all the financial support they qualify for
- Debt Strategy Planning: offering expert advice on organising debts, negotiating with creditors, and developing realistic repayment schedules
- Deciphering Debt Documents: assisting clients understand their debt statements and identifying ways to manage and reduce their debt effectively
The drop-in service is open Tuesdays, 10 am - 3 pm at Citizens Advice, Cable Street, Connah’s Quay CH5 4DZ
