Re-Prom will showcase prom dresses for every budget while raising money for a charity set up in memory of her friend.
A student from The Queen’s School in Chester is hoping her charity fashion event will provide girls with their dream prom dresses, while also raising money for a charity close to her heart.
Re-Prom is the brainchild of Head Girl Natasha Latham, aged 18, who is organising the charity event, due to take place on Friday 1st March at the Senior School on City Walls Road, Chester from 6.30pm-9pm.
All proceeds raised will go to the charity Evie’s Gift, which supports the families of critically ill children across the UK, with food and accommodation if their child is suddenly taken to hospital, often far from home.
Natasha said:
“Evie started school with me, but her life was cruelly cut short after suffering from a brain tumour, aged just 13. Evie’s Gift was set up in her name, to help families of critically ill children, and I am proud to be raising money for this great cause. Every penny raised from this event will go to Evie’s Gift.”
“Re-Prom is for everyone, regardless of how much they have to spend. If you’re looking for your dream prom dress, you can splash out or pick up a pre-loved bargain. You might want to get some new ideas for hair, make-up, or accessories too, so we’ve pulled together a cross-section of local suppliers you can meet on the night”
Natasha’s vision is for girls in Year 10 and 11 from all schools in Chester and the surrounding area, to come along and enjoy the event, which will include:
• A fashion show
• Make-up, hair, and beauty demonstrations
• New and pre-loved prom dresses, shoes, and accessories, to suit EVERY budget
• Prom related service suppliers
• Raffle and prizes
Natasha has organised the whole event herself, contacting sponsors, exhibitors and suppliers and arranging models for the fashion show.
The evening is by ticket entry, which is £3 for one or £5 for two tickets which can be purchased here.
If you can’t make the event but want to support the charity, donations can be made via JustGiving.
