Chester Racecourse is pleased to announce a new partnership with KingKabs, the largest taxi company in Chester and Ellesmere Port.
Responsible for transporting more than four million residents, businesses and visitors every year, KingKabs, now part of CityFleet Networks, has a combined fleet of more than 500 private hire taxis, executive cars and minibuses.
Established in 1968 and located right in the heart of the city centre, at 51-53 Bridge Street, the link-up with the world’s oldest racecourse will see KingKabs feature in specific guest communications for racedays, inside racecards, and on LED and big screen advertising.
KingKabs will also take up the opportunity of race sponsorship and run a number of competitions, in conjunction with the racecourse, on social media platforms.
Karen Long, Regional General Manager at CityFleet Networks, said:
“We are proud to partner with such an iconic venue as Chester Racecourse, which attracts thousands of visitors to the city for events all year round. As the number one taxi provider in the area, KingKabs welcomes the opportunity to promote its services and further support the transportation requirements of all those getting to and from the racecourse, enhancing the door-to-door experience with our long-established, professional, and customer-focused taxi service.”
Kate Dawson, Commercial Director at Chester Racecourse, added:
“We are delighted to welcome KingKabs, the number one taxi provider in the area, as a new partner of Chester Racecourse. KingKabs has been offering its renowned taxi services in the city for 55 years now, and this partnership is a natural link-up that provides benefits for both parties and the many guests attending our racedays and events.”
