'Cheshire Cats' is based on true life and was written by Gail Young, a local playwright. Cheshire Cats is a comedy and tells the story of a group of women from Chester who are taking part in the London Moonwalk to raise money for breast cancer.
Grown women, aching feet & heaving bosoms! Follow the Cheshire Cats as they walk their way to fundraising success in the London Moonwalk. Decorated bras, fancy new trainers & a team member who doesn’t quite fit the physical criteria - there’ll be plenty of laughs and tears along the way!
Chester Operatic Society brings you the original version by Gail Young, with the addition of a choral ensemble. A unique, musical version of the piece, featuring songs by Taylor Swift, Cyndi Lauper, Elton John, Ralph McTell and Queen.
