Two of Chester FC’s promising Under-19’s have gone out on a dual registration basis.
Defender Bailey Sloane has joined Avro FC, while midfielder Sam Hughes has linked up with St Helens Town AFC.
A left-footed defender, Sloane is in the second year of his scholarship with the Seals. He featured from the bench in pre-season against Elton Vale and Fleetwood Town – as well as starting in the wins against Clitheroe and Macclesfield.
Avro FC played in the Manchester League as recently as 2018, but have won two promotions since then and now ply their trade in the North West Counties Premier.
Hughes, who turned 18 in January, is a lively central midfielder and made two sub appearances in pre-season – in those two victories over the Blues and the Silkmen.
St Helens Town are one league below Avro in the North West Counties Division One North.
