Chester FC are pleased to announce the appointment of Neil Hart as their new Head of Scouting.
Neil will lead a new look scouting department that supports the club’s aim to identify, recruit and develop the region’s best young players with the talent and hunger to progress.
He brings vast experience and knowledge of non-league football within the north west to the role and makes a welcome return to the Deva Stadium having previously served as first-team coach.
Neil will manage a network of volunteer scouts and the club is inviting applications from individuals who believe they possess the necessary skills and understanding to identify, monitor and assess potential players.
To request an application pack, please email info@chesterfc.com.
Joint Manager Anthony Johnson said: “We’re delighted to be able to bring Neil back in a capacity that he excelled in when we first came to the club. He and Carl Garner worked wonders in identifying the likes of Jamie Morgan and Brad Jackson back in 2018/19.
“His knowledge of the game is outstanding as well as playing a huge part on the coaching staff last season.
“Neil will oversee of a group of scouts that will cover the North West and beyond as we grow our scouting knowledge and rebuild the database that has taken a hit over the last couple of season due to covid.”
Welcome back, Neil!
