Chester Football Club has provided an initial squad update, following the conclusion of their National League North season.
Due to the unique circumstances of an extended 2019/20 campaign and our participation in the play-offs, the club will now enter discussions with the first-team squad regarding their futures following the expiry of their existing contracts.
However we can confirm several players have now left the football club. We thank all outgoing players for their contribution and wish them the very best of luck for the future
Chairman Andrew Morris said: “This is always a difficult time for all concerned but even more so this year as we contend with the impact of COVID-19 and the uncertain footballing landscape.
“On behalf of everyone at the football club, we would like to place on record our gratitude to those players leaving us for their effort and commitment during their time at Chester FC.”
