Blues defender Danny Livesey has agreed a new one-year deal at the Deva Stadium.
The 36-year-old will remain at Chester FC for the 2021/22 campaign, entering his fourth season with the Club.
Initially arriving on-loan from Salford City in 2018, Livesey has made 86 appearances for the Seals and has an impressive return of 14 goals from the heart of defence.
Making his move permanent two years ago, the wily veteran featured 18 times in this curtailed season – scoring on four occasions.
Blues Joint Boss Anthony Johnson had this to say: “We’ve scouted and scoured the leagues to try and find an able replacement for the ageing fossil that is Danny Livesey, alas our scouting trips have been proven fruitless as nobody comes close to what we get week in, week out from this absolute monster of a defender.
“A leader on and off the pitch we’re delighted to have him around the place going into his 50th year!”
Great to have you staying on board, Danny!
Danny Livesey is signed up for 2021/22, will you be joining him?
